COMMUNITY SERVICES OFFICER
The Community Services Officer works with City Code Enforcement, assisting with minimum housing inspections, and assisting with community programs. The key duty is to assure that all citizens live in a healthy environment by enforcing city and state housing codes and property codes. Officer Cooper is a part of a City Nuisance Abatement team, which includes Minimum Housing Inspectors from the Fire Department, and the Code Enforcement Officer from the Public Works Department.
Officer Cooper also conducts programs in the communities and schools. The programs consist of drug education, crime prevention, and child safety.
